Rockland, ME, May 26, 2021 — The Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) invites youth and adults of all ages to take part in an ArtLab for All Ages workshop on Saturday, June 5, from 2 to 4pm on Facebook Live.
Taking our inspiration from painter David Row’s exhibit The Shape of Things, join community educator Alexis Iammarino to create a series of shaped paintings that explore ways to apply pattern and geometric illusions.
The free online workshop will stream live on facebook.com/cmcanow from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. For those tuning in locally, complimentary ArtKits containing all the supplies you will need are available for pick-up June 2 – June 5 from 10am-5pm, at CMCA. For more information, email Alexis Iammarino at aiammarino@cmcanow.org
CMCA’s ArtLab program is offered free to the community through the support of the Camden National Bank, Margaret E. Burnham Trust, Mattina R. Proctor Foundation, Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation, Morton Kelly Charitable Trust, Nellie Leaman Taft Foundation, The Onion Foundation, and individual donors.
