Rockland, ME, May 26, 2021 — The Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) invites youth and adults of all ages to take part in an ArtLab for All Ages workshop on Saturday, June 5, from 2 to 4pm on Facebook Live.

Taking our inspiration from painter David Row’s exhibit The Shape of Things, join community educator Alexis Iammarino to create a series of shaped  paintings that explore ways to apply pattern and geometric illusions.

The free online workshop will stream live on from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. For those tuning in locally, complimentary ArtKits containing all the supplies you will need are available for pick-up June 2 – June 5 from 10am-5pm, at CMCA. For more information, email Alexis Iammarino at

CMCA’s ArtLab program is offered free to the community through the support of the Camden National Bank, Margaret E. Burnham Trust, Mattina R. Proctor Foundation, Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation, Morton Kelly Charitable Trust, Nellie Leaman Taft Foundation, The Onion Foundation, and individual donors.
