KEEP CMCA LOOKING FORWARD

Thank you. Our donors make what we do possible.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Federal Stimulus CARES Act suspends limitations in 2020 for donors who itemize contributions made to charitable organizations as well as allowing non-itemizers to use a “universal deduction” to itemize up to $300 in 2020. Every donation helps CMCA continue to thrive and serve its community of artists, students, educators, and art lovers of all ages.

*

For more than six decades, CMCA has supported, sustained, and showcased the art and artists connected to Maine — bringing the community to art through innovative programming and exhibitions, and bringing art to the community through outreach and education.

From community engagement and work with local kids to showcases and retrospectives, CMCA fosters artists at every stage of their career, and provides a place to see and appreciate the way Maine’s impact on contemporary art continues to unfold.

As a CMCA donor, you’ll help sustain this legacy by supporting opportunities for artists and programs for public engagement. Thank you for helping CMCA continue looking forward.

Note: to designate your donation for a specific program or area of support (eg. ArtLab, exhibitions, or public programs), please indicate your choice during Checkout in Order Notes, under Additional Information. Thank you!

IRA Charitable Rollover limitations:

  • The donor must be age 70½ or older.
  • The cap on annual IRA rollovers is $100,000.
  • The contribution must be a direct gift to a charity (no planned gifts).
  • The distribution must be made directly or postmarked to the charity by December 31.
