Rockland, ME, April 21, 2021 — The Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) invites youth and adults of all ages to take part in an ArtLab for All Ages workshop on Saturday, May 1, from 2 to 4pm on Facebook Live.

Celebrate the brilliance of spring with ArtLab Educator Alexis Iammarino and explore the interplay of bold color, shape, and movement with wire, paper, and other lightweight materials to construct abstract blooms and 3D bouquets that bounce, bobble, and boing.

The free online workshop will stream live on facebook.com/cmcanow from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. For those tuning in locally, complimentary ArtKits containing all the supplies you will need are available for pick-up April 28 – May 1 from 11am-5pm, at CMCA. For more information, email Alexis Iammarino at aiammarino@cmcanow.org

CMCA’s ArtLab program is offered free to the community through the support of the Camden National Bank, Margaret E. Burnham Trust, Mattina R. Proctor Foundation, Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation, Morton Kelly Charitable Trust, Nellie Leaman Taft Foundation, The Onion Foundation, and individual donors.
