The Center for Maine Contemporary Art is partnering with the Farnsworth Art Museum to host the 2023 professional development open to all Maine educators, with support from the Maine Arts Education Association (MAEA). Museum education staff at both institutions will guide participants through a variety of activities and ideas for incorporating art into your classrooms. We’ll also take a close look at themes, dialogues, and curiosities across our current exhibitions. Imagine, explore, and create as a community of educators of all ages during this one-day workshop.

10:00 – 12:30  Museum Workshops
12:30 – 1:15  Lunch 
1:15 – 2:30 Group collaboration

Attendees are responsible for their own lunch and will need to bring a device with access to working in Google docs. Educators will receive contact hours from both organizations for attending the full day.
