In collaboration with Strand Theatre we are pleased to offer a livestream ArtLab inspired by the performance by Elena Moon Park and Friends in-person and online at 11:00am on March 5. Following the performance, tune in for a livestream ArtLab available on our Facebook. Registration for this in-person and livestream show is required. You can receive your Pay-What-You-Can ($0-20) ticket through the Strand Theatre.
Those attending the concert in-person at the Strand can take an art kit home with them. Those who will be watching the concert at home via livestream can choose to supply their own materials, or pick up an art kit at a pre-arranged time. - Sturdy paper: watercolor paper, card stock, Bristol board
- Water-based paint: watercolors, tempera, acrylic, gouache
- Drawing tools (water resistant): colored pencils, crayons, pencil
Elena Moon Park is a musician, educator, and producer living in Brooklyn, NY. She is a freelance musician in NYC, specializing in contemporary classical and family music, and has performed on stages ranging from Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center to the Southbank Centre and the Melbourne International Arts Festival. She is also a co-Artistic Director of the Brooklyn-based arts organization Found Sound Nation, which uses collaborative music creation to connect people across cultural divides. In 2012, Elena released her debut all-ages album “Rabbit Days and Dumplings,” featuring reimagined folk and children’s music from East Asia. She released a second all-ages album, “Unhurried Journey,” in summer 2020. Elena continues to perform with all-ages musician Sonia De Los Santos, and leads her own all-ages folk rock band, Elena Moon Park and Friends.
