Free and open to all
Join our April Vacation ArtLabs with teaching artists Annie Bailey and Lisa Morgan, held Monday–Thursday afternoons during April vacation week. Participants will draw inspiration from the exhibition Nicola López | Visions, Phantoms and Apparitions and create a collection of printed papers to collage into dreamscapes. Play and experiment with accumulating layers in mixed media with two printmaking sessions and two mixed media collage days!
Day 1 & 3: Printmaking: create a series of printed papers to apply to your dreamscapes, using block printing and mono-printing.
Day 2 & 4: Mixed media collage: focus on cutting, folding, wrapping, and gluing.
Preparations to make in advance:
- Get inspired: Visit us in-person, located in downtown Rockland or through our virtual tour
- Dress for a mess: Sometimes messes happen, printmaking materials include ink or paint. Dress for a mess just in case!
