Third Sunday | Tours at 10

May 15, 2022 | 10:00 am - 11:00 am EDT

Sunday, May 15 | 10am | Farnsworth Art Museum + CMCA
Free for Members + Rockland Residents
Registration closes at noon on the preceding Friday.

Join education coordinators Jude Valentine of the Farnsworth Art Museum and Mia Bogyo of the Center for Maine Contemporary Art to tour current exhibitions comparing and contrasting thematic artworks from both organizations. Participants will visit each art institution to view works in-person and learn about varied contexts, art-making approaches, and artistic vision.

This week’s theme will be the “emotional impact of color” featuring the work of Lynn Drexler at FAM and Chris Doyle at CMCA. We encourage you to visit Chris Doyle’s | The Fabricators beforehand as the exhibit closes on May 8.

Please note: our galleries are closed to the public for installation during this time, and will be open only for special programming.

Photography Policy: By participating in CMCA programming, I understand my child or myself may be photographed by CMCA staff for general documentation and publicity. I also understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.
