Inspired by Shaina Gates’ Biennial artwork, participants will play with color, transparency, and light as we will fold and layer kite paper into gem-like 2D or 3D sculptures that can be hung in your window at home to brighten up your February days.
About the instructor
Rachel Alexandrou is an interdisciplinary artist who uses her education in plant science, and collaborative practice, to create experiential work about food, flora, and innovating human relationships to the natural landscape.
