Since 1970, CMCA has held a juried exhibition, which is open to artists working in all media who have strong connections with Maine and includes works that were created within the past two years. More than 475 artists applied for the 2014 CMCA Biennial exhibition. Artists whose work will be in the exhibition are:

The jurors for the 2014 CMCA Biennial exhibition were Jennifer Gross, chief curator of the deCordova Sculpture Park & Museum and Deborah Weisgall, arts and culture writer (The New York Times, The Atlantic, Esquire, The New Yorker).
