On the Horizon
Human-made objects have found their way into the vast majority of natural landscapes. In her work, Mariah Reading blurs the line between waste objects and the natural landscapes in which they were found by painting the objects to mimic their surroundings. In this month’s ArtLab Open Studios, you are invited to use drawing, painting and collage to extend the image. How will you finish the story?

Open Studios offers drop-in opportunities and materials for visitors of all ages to creatively engage with and understand current exhibitions through self-directed art making.
