What Is A Painting?

Spend five mornings exploring paint, surfaces, and many ways to create paintings. With inspiration from the work of Ann Craven and other artists throughout history, young artists will make a collection of painted pieces that reflect and reveal their own unique way of seeing the world. Create a journal of painted sketches and ideas inspired by your everyday surroundings!
Marcie Jan Bronstein is a visual artist whose work has been commissioned, published, collected, and exhibited for 30 years. For the past 23 years, she has lived and worked in Belfast, teaching in schools and workshops, creating books and works of Public Art. From 2011-14, she developed and guided the ArtLab at CMCA. For the past five years, she led creative watercolor painting workshops on ships around the world.

Photography Policy: By registering for ArtCamp, I understand my child may be photographed by CMCA staff for general documentation and publicity. I also understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund (minus $25 registration fee) will be granted for cancellations made up to 14 days prior to program start date; 50% refund (minus $25) will be granted for cancellation up to 10 days before program start date. No refunds for cancellations made less than 10 days prior to start date. Please notify us immediately of any cancellation so we can fill your space. Thank you. CMCA reserves the right to cancel any ArtLab program. In the event of a cancellation by CMCA, full refunds will be granted, Under enrolled programs will be canceled 1 week prior to the start date. We do not offer prorated fees to attend part of the program.
