You are cordially invited to join us for an afternoon reception hosted by Sylvia and Eddie Brown, honoring CMCA’s 2018 Distinguished Lecturer, Dr. Lonnie G. Bunch III, Founding Director, National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), Smithsonian Institution.

Dr. Bunch will present his lecture, “The Challenge of Building a National Museum,” at 5:30pm, at The Strand Theatre, adjacent to CMCA. Dr. Bunch will be introduced by artist, Dr. David Driskell.
