Info session on The Kindling Fund, hosted in collaboration with SPACE and The Steel House. Artists interested in applying to the Fund are encouraged to attend.
The Kindling Fund supports artist-organized, visual arts-based projects that have a strong public component. The most competitive projects will be ones that don’t fit in established institutions or venues, occur in alternative spaces, or use alternative practices. Preference will be given to projects that present work by multiple artists. Geographic range for projects: State of Maine
The info sessions will include a brief overview of the program by SPACE Executive Director Nat May and Visual Arts Programmer Elizabeth Spavento and will allow for time for questions about The Kindling Fund.
