Join in a livestream ArtLab workshop on Saturday, March 6th, from 2 to 4pm on Facebook Live. Led by Community Arts Educator Alexis Iammarino, participants will create a series of colorful painted collages. Taking creative lead from from Biennial artists Meg Hahn and Jenny McGee Dougherty, draw inspiration from the most familiar of spaces and objects by exploring new ways to survey your surroundings.
Following the livestream, participants are invited to join a Zoom call at 3:40pm to share and discuss their work. Email Alexis at firstname.lastname@example.org for the Zoom link.
Prep at home in advance for the workshop
- Cardboard box cut-offs, pantry boxed items that have clear-plastic windows, assorted papers,
- Scissors, ruler, glue, pencils, paints (watercolors or acrylics), assorted brushes, markers, pens, or other rubber stamping/crafting supplies you enjoy to create with!
ArtKits are available for pick up at CMCA on Wednesday 3/3 – Friday 3/5 from 12 – 5pm and Saturday 3/6 from 11am – 2pm
Tips for creating at home:

- Clear an area for art making in a space where you and others have room to create; be sure to cover the area with newspaper, an old towel or tablecloth, or other protective covering.
