February | Hope Tapestry
Join in a livestream ArtLab workshop led by Community Arts Educator Alexis Iammarino on Saturday, February 6, from 2 to 4pm on Facebook Live. Taking inspiration from the works of Biennial artists Susan B. Webster and Breehan James, participants will create mixed-media collages and painted textile banners. Led by Alexis, you’ll explore ways to reflect upon connections between wellbeing, wish making, hopefulness and caring for yourself, others, and the natural world.
Following the livestream, participants are invited to join a Zoom call at 3:40pm to share and discuss their work. Email Alexis at aiammarino@cmcanow.org for the Zoom link.
Prep at home in advance for the workshop
Suggested materials:
