Join teaching artist Tara Morin for a virtual art adventure! In order to keep our community safe, this summer ArtCamp is offered via Zoom. Working closely online with Tara, campers will turn creative ideas into tangible original works of art at home, gathering virtually to share and make together!
All campers receive an ArtKit filled with the materials and tools needed for the week’s projects (available for pick up at CMCA prior to the start of camp.) Campers and their families receive free admission to the galleries and are encouraged to view the exhibitions during their visit to take inspiration from the art on display.
Week 1 | Painting Everyday – Inspired by the works of painters Hannah Secord Wade and Tracy Miller on view in the exhibition Skirting the Line, campers will create a variety of mixed media paintings that reimage objects, stories, and images of everyday life, all while learning fun techniques to depict, alter and abstract their compositions!
