Learn about the world of animation during a workshop with educator and artist Brandon Soards. This 3-hour session will explore the fundamentals of animation through historical techniques. Students will create 2D hand-drawn animations using frame-by-frame and keyframe processes similar to those created at the beginning of the 20th century. These core animation processes will prove timeless, as the same principles are critical to modern digital animation.
All levels welcome. Please note, participants are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from Midcoast School of Technology.
