Michaela Crie Stone lives in Rockport, Maine, where she creates work blurring the lines between art, craft, and design. After receiving her Bachelor's Degree from Skidmore College in sculpture and painting, Michaela attended the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine, first as a student, then as a studio fellow, and now as a faculty member. Her sculpture and designs have been shown nationally and received numerous accolades, including grants from the Maine Arts Commission, the Furniture Society, and the Artist Award from the Society of Arts and Crafts in Boston. Michaela has been awarded several esteemed residencies across the country.
