Contemporary Maine Oil Painter. In 2022 Ferrell taught and painted in Greece, Bahrain, and Germany, this included teaching painting to active duty deployed military troops. Ferrell’s work bridges art and science. Currently she teaches at the University of New England and is a prominent artist in the C-word international Cancer and Art exhibition sponsored by the National Cancer Institute. Ferrell is a Published Researcher and Patient Advocate for Arizona State University, the National Cancer Institute, and the Department of Defense. McGee Ferrell’s paintings are collected internationally and her work in 2022 is included in the Portland Maine Greenhut Gallery Biennial and Thomas Moser Gallery 50th Anniversary exhibition. Erin is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and University of the Arts Philadelphia and has studied at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, University of Louisville in Italy, School for International Training Nigeria, and the Artist Students League of New York.
