Documentary photographer, telling visual stories.  Most of my work shows the creation of dance and dancers, but I also have large portfolios of Holocaust images taken in Auschwitz / Birkenau, of travel images, mostly taken in Holland and Scandinavia, of small town Maine events, and of other images taken in New York City, Japan, Monhegan Island, and elsewhere.  Am in the process of scanning scanning images of social activism in the 1970's and 80's.Available for documentary work, including weddings and other events, locally and around the world.  Many framed images on display and for sale in my studio space near India Street inPortland.Education includes master classes with Arnold Newman, Kate Carter, Eugene Richards, Joyce Tenneson, Sally Mann, and others, and a special week long workshop with Rose Eichenbaum at Jacob's Pillow on "The Art of Photographing Dance".  Was the resident photographer at the Bates Dance Festival for twelve years, at Bearnstow in Mt. Vernon, Maine, and have covered other dance events in Boston, New York, and beyond.  My work is included in the collection of the Portland Museum of Art, and many private collectors.
