2025 artcamp information

We look forward to welcoming campers new and seasoned as we continue to offer an engaging and enjoyable summer experience for all participants! Our 2025 ArtCamp season camps are held in-person at CMCA’s ArtLab studio. Registration for all camps will be on a sliding scale fee of $200 – $275.

Please read all information for each ArtCamp carefully, more information coming soon! Registration opens 10:00am on Tuesday, April 1. 

Week 1 
July 7-10 | 9:00 – 12:00pm
8 – 11 years old | Limit of 12 campers
Instructor: Tori Marsh
Inspired by the vibrant and lush paintings on view in Nicole Wittenberg’s Cheek to Cheek, participants will create large plant and flower sculptures out of papier-mâché.

Week 2 
July 14 – 17 | 9:00 – 12:00pm
12 – 14 years old | Limit of 12 campers
Instructor: Russell Kahn
Come explore a variety of two dimensional media , including watercolors, colored pencils, printmaking and also a project with air dry clay.

Week 3 
July 21 – 24 | 9:00 – 12:00pm
8 – 11 years old | Limit of 12 campers
Instructor: Jen Peppe
Inspired by the art of Elizabeth Atterbury, we will play with the concepts of interior space, exterior space and everything in between using objects and play.

Week 4 | Fabric Collage
July 28 – 31 | 9:00 – 12:00pm
8 – 11 years old | Limit of 12 campers
Instructor: Richard Wehnke 
Inspired by the work of Carlie Trosclair’s installation campers will create a collaborative immersive space for the Lobster Festival using silk screening processes.

Photography Policy: By registering for ArtCamp, I understand my child may be photographed by CMCA staff for general documentation and publicity. I also understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund (minus $50 registration fee) will be granted for cancellations made up to 14 days prior to program start date; 50% refund (minus $50) will be granted for cancellation up to 10 days before program start date. No refunds for cancellations made less than 10 days prior to start date. Please notify us immediately of any cancellation so we can fill your space. CMCA reserves the right to cancel any ArtLab program. In the event of a cancellation by CMCA, full refunds will be granted, Under-enrolled programs (less than 8 participants) will be canceled 1 week prior to the start date. We do not offer prorated fees to attend part of the program. Thank you for understanding.
