January ArtLab for All
Saturday, January 4 | 2:00–4:00pm
Instructor: Jennifer Peppe
Drop-in | Free and open to all!
Join us as we explore the art of Notan paper cutting. Notan is a Japanese art form that focuses on the balance of light and dark in a composition. Inspired by the fiber work of Katarina Weslien, we will cut out positive and negative shapes and then glue our pieces onto a background paper. The final works will be collaborative, quilt-like compositions that focus on balance, form and contrast.
