Magic Material
In this adult workshop, we will use a variety of recycled materials to create mixed media relief works. Inspired by Ian Trask | Mind Loops installations made from reclaimed items, we will create active compositions from materials, encouraging reuse of materials. This workshop will be run similar to our ArtLab for All program, focusing on experimentation and exploration of material.
Tara Morin is an educator and artist living in Rockland. She defines her work as collecting and configuring shape and color, often integrating the “detritus of daily life” into her work. She uses found materials to create visually complex images and objects, arranging and rearranging to produce painting, drawing, collage and sculpture. Her aim is to reimagine the found material as something both familiar and foreign.
