Sunday, August 18
10:00am – 12:00pm | drop-in | ArtLab
Sliding fee of $5–$15 | Drop-in | Adults 18+
Spend your Sunday morning exploring, making, and creating in the ArtLab studio during this community drop-in for adults. With all due honor and respect to The Midori Company in Japan, we are going to have the fun of creating our own tall thin notebook with American sized paper. In this workshop we will make a tall, narrow notebook that can, with delight, be decorated just as we please. This is a very comfortable, writing-on-the-go sized journal that can easily be customized with pockets for your receipts, photos, drawings and other crucial ephemera. Learn a new process, work on an independent project or play with materials with artists of all abilities. All materials supplied and free coffee provided by Rock City Café!
About the artist
Robinsunne is a mixed-media fiber artist who has been living, creating, writing, and teaching art in the Mid-Coast for almost 40 years. She tends to flip back and forth from Embroidery to Bookmaking … and some quilting, and monoprinting, a little bit of sculpture, then there are all of the paper chain designs, oh, and of course, the Mandala Drawings for Healing.
Our Adult Makerspace is a monthly drop-in studio for adults, to meet other artists, makers, and creatives within the Midcoast community.
