In my OVOID series different arrangements of oval shapes, protean luxuriant colors, and sublime soft texture create a feeling of transcendent order. These images are anti-chaos. All strive for a connection to a moment of reflection, resolution and calm. I strive through marvelous, dynamic and resolved color relationships to make a visual place for personal contemplation and serenity. I use gouache paint on Rives BFK rag paper.
