Kathy received a BFA from Washington University School of Fine Arts in 1984, and was an assistant to Master Printers at the Bob Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, in New York City, 1985-86.  Kathy’s artwork was selected for the Biennial at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) in 2016 and also in 2018. She had a solo show at the Maine Jewish Museum in 2017. Her art has been included in many group shows including The Painting Center in New York, and Able Baker Contemporary in Portland Maine. Kathy was a contributing editor of the Maine Arts Journal from 2017-2021, her essays on art and artists have also appeared in The Chart. Her novel, Plan B was published by Staring Problem Press in 2019.  Kathy works in the Architectural and furniture restoration field. She has worked at the MFA in Boston, the Metropolitan Museum in New York City and the Frick Collection installing period rooms.
