Kathy Weinberg received a BFA from Washington University School of Fine Arts,1984, was an assistant Printer at the Bob Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, 1985-86. Her work has been included in two Center of Maine Contemporary Art Biennials, in a solo show at the Maine Jewish Museum, and in numerous group shows. “My paintings form vignettes with patterns, scenes and still life. The work evokes a book of hours. Open-ended narratives, singular images, sense of place, and season is suggested. Light enters through various sources, and the outdoors enters indoors creating an indeterminate space that exists between architecture and the natural world.”
