CMCA provides a variety of opportunities for artists at all levels. There are no open calls to artists at the moment. Please check back here for future opportunities.

Artist Submission Policy and Guidelines

While exhibitions are determined solely by the director or visiting curator, CMCA welcomes materials from artists for review. At the moment, however, we will not be reviewing portfolios until after September 1. Please do not expect a response until October 1.

Submissions, which should fit into an envelope no larger than 9" x 12", should include the following materials:
--Cover letter
--CV or resume
--Images of your work. If you send a CD, please include a printout with thumbnails of the images as well as a few larger printouts. Please do not send slides.
--Artist's statement
--Supporting materials, if you have them, such as reviews of your work or articles about you or your work

Unfortunately, we are not able to return materials because of the large number of submissions we receive, nor are we responsible for materials we receive. We will contact you if your work meets the needs of our exhibition scheduling; please do not phone or email us regarding the status of your submission.
