Gallery Hours
Galleries and the Gallery Shop are open seasonally, May to December, and occasionally during the winter for special programs.
Admission
Admission to CMCA's galleries is by donation; it is free for members and children. There is a $5 suggested donation for nonmembers. CMCA is a nonprofit and donations are gratefully accepted to further our mission of advancing contemporary art in Maine.
Facilities
CMCA has four galleries on three floors, an ArtLab for workshops and classes, a Gallery Shop, and an Internet Cafe with coffee and tea. Our facilities are fully wheelchair accessible and serviced by an elevator.
Administrative Office Hours
CMCA's offices are open year-round, 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, except for national holidays and Christmas day. If you are visiting when the galleries are closed, however, please call first. To speak with staff, call 207.236.2875.

CMCA is located at 162 Russell Avenue in downtown Rockport, Maine, diagonally across from the Rockport Library.
Directions from points South:
Take I-295 north to Brunswick and continue north on Rt. 1. Follow Rt. 1 to Rt. 90 east until it ends at a set of lights (the Market Basket is on your right). Go straight through the lights onto West St. Go by the old elementary school on the right and at the end of West St., turn left on Pascal Ave. Cross the bridge and proceed up the hill through Rockport Village. Bear right at the Opera House and look for CMCA on the right.
Directions from points North: Take Rt. 1 south through Camden. Turn left onto West Street at the lights at the junction of Rt. 1 and Rt. 90 (Cellardoor Winery's yellow house will be on your left). Go by the old elementary school on the right and at the end of West St., turn left on Pascal Ave. Cross the bridge and proceed up the hill through Rockport Village. Bear right at the Opera House and look for CMCA on the right.

Parking
Several parking spaces are available in front of CMCA's building. Additional street parking is available along Russell Ave., Union St., and Pascal Ave.
Group Visits
Gallery Tours: CMCA is happy to accommodate group visits and will arrange a special tour for your group. Admission is free of charge for school groups; our nonmember suggested donation of $5 per person applies for all other groups (members are always admitted free).
ArtLab Workshops: We are now offering an optional workshop component to gallery tours in our new ArtLab facilities. One of our artist/educators will present an art workshop that ties in with our current exhibitions, or you can work with him or her to plan a workshop tailored to your own desires.
