Rockland, ME, April 7, 2017 — The Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) invites participants of all ages to take part in ArtLab workshops during the upcoming school vacation week. Four workshops will be offered beginning Monday, April 17, through Thursday, April 20, from 2 to 4pm each day. All workshops are free of charge and appropriate for all ages. Participants can drop-in for one or all four workshops.

The theme for April Vacation ArtLabs is Style and Strucutre Shuffle! Jump in on an array of painting, drawing, and mixed-media explorations that invite you to create new and exciting art forms each day! We are also delighted to host one of our exhibiting artists, Sam Cady, who will be guest-leading a drawing workshop,”Lines, Edges, Shapes and the Spaces In Between,” on Wednesday, April 19th.

April Vacation Workshops are led by ArtLab Lead Artist and Educator Alexis Iammarino. Alexis received her Masters in Community Art from Maryland Institute College of Art and is also an artist member and educator at the Steel House in Rockland.
