“My work is always inspired by a connection to shape, color, or mood of a subject.  Recently, I have been moving towards a more abstract expression inspired by the natural environment and my dreams.”

Linda Gerson has been exhibiting her art in group invitational and solo venues throughout the seacoast for the past seventeen years. She works in a private psychotherapy practice in Massachusetts several days a week and devotes the rest of her time to painting in her studio or attending a weekly figurative drawing group.

Her most recent solo exhibits were at the Yarmouth Historical Society in Yarmouth, Maine and The Clown Gallery in York, Maine.  One of her recent paintings was just selected for the Families First Calendar for 2018.

A graduate of Boson University and Simmons College, Linda has studied extensively at Maine College of Art. She participated in a painting retreat to France May, 2016 and several of her paintings were later exhibited in a show at the college.

Linda resides in southern Maine with her husband Ray and their dog Roxie.
