Maine native. Former prothonotary. Parent of two artists. Mostly I draw, but some pieces could be considered paintings. From time to time a sculpture appears.
James Chute, lives in Freeport. His bold abstract drawings are often produced in collaborative projects with other artists. In 2012, he exhibited paintings at University College in Saco drawings at Engine in Biddeford, a collaborative project entitled “talking & drawing” at Rose Contemporary in Portland and recently at Harlow Gallery in Hallowell.
